Announcing the ‘2009 Met of the Year’ award

As another year comes to a close, it’s time to look back and “celebrate” this last season of Mets-dom. Though it fell far under expectations, there were (very) few bright spots along the way.

Now it’s up to you, the fans, to celebrate those bright spots.

Here is your chance to vote for your 2009 Met of the Year!2009 Met of the Year bracket As you can see, the 16-player field is broken down into four brackets in two divisions. Voting will go as follows…

  • Orange Bracket: 10 a.m. 12/31 – 10 a.m. 1/1
  • White Bracket: 10 a.m. 1/1 – 10 a.m. 1/2
  • Black Bracket: 10 a.m. 1/2 – 10 a.m. 1/3
